Two-Factor Authentication Now Required for ShowingTime Direct Sign-In
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now live for users who sign in directly to ShowingTime with a username and password. Beginning September 24, 2026, users who have reached the end of their 30-day setup period will be required to set up 2FA before they can sign in with their ShowingTime credentials.
Who This Affects
This only affects users who sign in directly with a ShowingTime username and password. Users who access ShowingTime only through secure links within your MLS system are not affected.
What's Changing
- 2FA is now live for direct username/password sign-in to ShowingTime.
- Effective September 24 — users past their 30-day setup window must complete 2FA setup to sign in.
- No action needed for users who only access ShowingTime through secure MLS system links.
What Affected Users Should Do
Encourage affected users to complete 2FA setup as soon as they're prompted. If they don't complete setup, they won't be able to sign in to their ShowingTime account with their credentials.
