Unable to Download Listing Photos for CRMLS Listings

ISSUE

You are able to download listings through RETS, but are unable to download listing photos when LM_char10_75 = CRMLS.

BACKGROUND

The GetObject transaction provides a means of downloading objects associated with a given property.  A very common use for this transaction type is to retrieve property photos.  There are two different types of object information that can be retrieved.  This is based on the Location parameter.

• Location = 0; The actual binary data for the object is returned.  (Default)
• Location = 1; A link (URL) for the object is returned.  (Preferred method)

SOLUTION

When attempting to download photos for CRMLS listings, use the Location=1 parameter to download the URLs for the photos, rather than the photos themselves.
